1. How to Choose a Mascot Costume

Choosing the right mascot depends on your usage environment. Here is what to consider:

Vision: Where does the performer see out of? Through the eyes (better aesthetics) or the mouth (better vision)? For sports teams, we recommend mouth-vision for better peripheral sight.
Material: For outdoor summer events, choose EVA foam structures with built-in fans. For indoor AC environments, plush padding offers a cuddlier look.
Portability: If you travel for trade shows, ask for a "collapsible" body structure rather than a rigid hoop frame.

Place a mascot outside your store to hand out flyers. Interaction rates are 3x higher than a regular staff member.

Don't just use it for games. Use the mascot for morning greeters, exam week encouragement, and fundraising videos.

The Golden Rule: Never Speak.

Mascots rely on pantomime and exaggerated gestures. If you talk, you break the magic.

The 3-Second Rule: When waving at a crowd, hold the pose for 3 seconds so people have time to take a photo.
Hydration: Wear a cooling vest or take breaks every 20-30 minutes. Rushopn costumes are breathable, but physical activity generates heat.
Have a Handler: Always have an uncostumed assistant nearby to guide you through crowds and handle safety.
